| Fire Prevention Month Launching (BFP R-3) |
Its been the Nations obligation to provide education and awareness of the safety of its citizens in any disasters including fires. This month of March is declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A an observation of Fire Prevention Month that shall provide education and awareness to lessen the incidence of fire in the country. An average of 9,000 to 10,000 fire incidents nationwide. In the observation and prevention of fires this month, all the regions in the Philippines (Region 1 to 12, ARMM, CAR CARAGA) spearheaded by the Philippine Bureau of Fire Protection (PBFP) are busy having activities for the month. Offering training, seminars, conducting free inspections of facilities including schools and government institutions and having fire drills, rescue demonstrations, and giving advises on safety during fire. Thus, this blog information shall remind and give everybody the importance of fire prevention not just in the Philippines but to other countries as well.
